Here is the second part of my walk-through to Morel-Voevodskys A¹-homotopy theory. I give a proof of Lemma 1.1 on page 48.
I sketch a (well-known) classification of Riemann surfaces. I wrote this because I couldn't find a quick overview of the classification on the web. References for further reading in the wikipedia are given in the text.
As I'm currently reading Voevodskys paper on A¹-homotopy theory of schemes, I will by and by write a little "walk-through" with hints & comments on how to find additional information to better (or even start to) understand the paper.
