Tomboy is a note-taking software which runs under Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. There is an Android client in active development, as well as synchronisation with Ubuntu One.
Sadly, Ubuntu is not perfect. A wish-list of future Ubuntu features/applications. Some are available on Windows or Mac OS X, most aren't.
Annotations and other metadata issues with PDFs, PostScript documents, DjVu files, XMP metadata, various extraction tools and ways to manipulate document metadata. The focus lies on Linux but something works with Windows and Mac OS X, too.
Recently I've been looking (again) for some note-taking system that satisfies me. Searching across the blogs, I decided to share my experience with information-management tools with you.
